This is medium size (3 millimeters in diameter or slightly more) and quite unusual snowflake, with its long, straight arms without any branches and ring of very thin and clean icy "petals" around center. I have not remember any similar crystal from 8 winters of snowflake photography.

7 serial shots was averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio. Background: dark woolen fabric, natural light (cloudy sky), external optics Helios 44M-5, January 2015, Moscow.

In November 2016 i photographed similar snowflake - The shard:

Snowflake macro photo: real snow crystal with unusual structure, narrow straight arms and large hexagonal center, formed by six broad sectors with beautiful inner patterns

Also, i combined these two snow crystals into one picture:

Picture of snowflakes: two snow crystals with unusual structure - straight, narrow arms and large hexagonal centers, formed by six broad sections with elegant inner patterns, glittering on dark gray woolen background in cold light
