This is medium size fernlike dendrite snowflake with relatively simple structure for it's type. You may notice, though, typical for fernlike dendrites side branches and lots of tiny icy "leaves" on arms.

This snow crystal was captured as quick series of 8 identical RAW shots, and averaged to boost signal-to-noise ratio of this picture. Source photos was taken on large sheet of glass with LED back lighting, using Canon Powershot A650is and additional lens Helios 44M-5, reversely mounted in front of camera's optics, in January 2013, Moscow.
